The best part about being a Financial Planner is developing relationships with my clients and working to grow that over time. Part of the financial planning process is solving problems- I believe there’s always a solution, no matter how complex the issue may be.
I like to look at the big picture, to understand where my clients are now and where they want to be in the future. For me, it’s about getting the job done and achieving the best outcome. Anything can be dressed up to look and sound good but you need to be able to back it up with results. It’s very rewarding to be able to provide my clients with the strategic vehicle which allows them to reach their goals.
Outside of work I’m kept busy with children’s sporting activities as well as keeping fit myself. I also enjoy dining out with great friends, and good wine.
I get a lot of joy out of working with a team of great people who are passionate about what they do. What personally drives me is the challenge of ensuring our client experience with us is personal and professional. I believe what we do makes a big difference in people’s everyday lives. To witness a client's journey, from the moment they make contact with us to them reaching their goals, is hugely rewarding for me. I like making a positive difference in people’s lives, it genuinely makes me happy.
My job is a real privilege. Assisting people to make decisions that can have such an important and far-reaching impact on them and the lives of their families is a wonderful job to pursue as a profession. My very first life insurance death claim was my best friend. He died at the age of 32, leaving behind a wife and 3 children under the age of 6. I have seen first hand how critical a part life insurance played in that families’ financial future and well being. This is why I am very passionate about people making the ‘important decisions’, perhaps at a time when they may not consider them that important.
On a personal note, I enjoy keeping fit, being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends. I love jazz music and enjoy reading, particularly biographies and books that help develop me as a person. Life really is and should be a continuous learning experience.
Family and relationships are very important to me. That’s why I’m passionate about helping our clients make those critical decisions that help build a successful business, and a successful personal and family life too.
I work to understand where my clients are now and where they would like to be in the future. My job is to make sure they achieve their goals despite the hurdles life may put in front of us.
Back in the day I proudly represented Australia and captained the NSW Cricket Team, and I like to think these experiences have given me a strong sense of leadership and an appreciation of the benefits of teamwork. At Tempus Wealth I work with a highly motivated, client focused team and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I feel fortunate to work in a role where I can help people make informed choices that give clarity, direction, and peace of mind. My late father taught me how to trade shares as a teenager and I’ve had a keen interest in finance and investment ever since. In my years as an adviser, I’ve learnt that the right combination of empathy, investment expertise and sound technical knowledge enables an adviser to make a meaningful difference to the lives of clients.
I thrive on building relationships with people and helping them meet their short, medium and long term goals. Having the right roadmap in place can provide you with the financial confidence to both live the life you want and be well-positioned to deal with the unexpected.
When I’m not at work, my hands are full with a young family and I also enjoy running the nearby bush trails in the Royal National Park.

I love working with a team of professionals who use their skills and expertise to assist clients by bringing clarity to their goals and develop strategies to help achieve them.
The financial planning environment is ever-changing so to be able to ensure that the Tempus Wealth team, business and processes are at the forefront of these changes is a very rewarding role.
Graduating from the University of the Sunshine Coast, I had a range of options available to me, but I found I really connected with the ethos at Tempus Wealth. Colin and Bill really lead the way when it comes to putting the clients first, and remembering that we’re not just helping people build a portfolio – we’re helping people build a life.
(That said, working a stone’s throw from some of the best surf beaches in the world was probably a factor in the decision too!)

Being a part of the financial journey of the many wonderful clients I have had the pleasure of dealing with is truly rewarding. Helping clients realise their dream of home ownership is one of the many joys of being a Mortgage Broker. Having purchased several properties throughout my life, I understand how stressful the process can be. For me, job satisfaction comes from taking that stress out of this experience for my clients. If I can make that process more relaxed for them then I feel extremely rewarded.

Client Service Manager
As a risk specialist, I’ve seen the financial benefits our strategies and products can deliver. Most important to me though is the emotional relief and peace of mind the right solutions can give our clients, allowing them space to focus on unexpected challenges, like medical treatment and rehabilitation. This motivates me to provide the best service possible – so our clients are financially secure when they need it most.
Outside my career, I am a dog-lover, and consider the beach to be my home away from home. I follow many sporting codes from around the world, with AFL being my personal favourite, and I’m all ears to any travel destination suggestions and tips!

Financial Planning to me is about maximising what you have to enjoy the life you want both now and into the future. I love showing clients how our strategies can help them live their best life, and then helping them refine the strategy as they progress through their lives. I really enjoy helping people and making a positive difference to their life.
Outside of work I love to travel to new places, and learn about other cultures/history and cuisines. Personally, I am married with 3 kids and 2 dogs.

I have spent most of my adult life working in the Financial Planning Industry from Marketing through to my new role in Customer Service.
I look forward to working with the Tempus Wealth team and clients. I believe it is a privilege to find solutions and opportunities for our clients’ financial planning programmes and will do my best to deliver the highest quality of service.
Outside of Tempus Wealth, my other passion is my family. I love weekly family dinner night with my husband, four boys and their partners and when I have down time –travelling, reading, walking and dinner in good restaurants.

I had just completed my HSC when I joined Tempus Wealth, with no clue on how I wanted to begin my journey into adulthood. At first I wasn’t sure it would be for me, though after seeing how much thought goes into every aspect of our services and how much care all of the team puts in, I knew Tempus was the place for me.
I am passionate about putting effort in and seeing someone benefit from it. Working at Tempus Wealth and seeing clients walk out the door with a smile on their face gives me the best satisfaction that I could have.

I am in a lucky position to be able to work in the financial planning industry whilst studying financial planning at the University of Wollongong. I enjoy learning from my experienced colleagues at Tempus Wealth and being a part of this amazing team. Being a part of the process to achieve a client’s goals is extremely rewarding for me as I continue to grow in my role. Away from the office I enjoy playing footy and keeping fit, along with travelling to see new places.
